Initiate the proposal process
Develop a through proposal,
   showcasing its positive
   impact on the business and
   metrics for success 

Review the proposal with
   your manager resolving
   questions and challenges
Implement the approved
   proposal with your manager,
   HR and other constituencies
Conduct periodic and
   annual reviews as agreed to
   with your manager


As a manager, it is your responsibility to:

Support employees
   through the proposal
   process
Consider all requests
   equitably
Discuss the proposal with
   your employee, resolving
   questions and challenges
Approve or deny a proposal,
   based on the business
   impact and metrics
   described
Implement the approved
   proposal with your
   employee, HR and other
   constituencies
Conduct periodic and
   annual reviews as agreed to
   with your employees

As HR Staff, it is your responsibility to:

Educate staff and managers
   on the value and purpose of
   flexibility
Coach employees in
   developing a thorough
   proposal with positive
   business impact
Coach managers in
   evaluating proposals
